Using DocStudio’s e-signature feature is straightforward, enabling users to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
Begin by uploading the document that needs to be signed. You can do this from the home page in your account. Select the option to sign or fill the document and add one or multiple recipients. Recipients don't need a DocStudio account to work with the document. You can also customize the subject line of the envelope and include a personal message. Additionally, you can assign an approver to review the document or send a signed copy to someone.
Using the Fields option in the side menu, insert fillable fields such as date, name, or other information. Assign these fields to yourself or one of the recipients. For the signature field, simply drag and drop it onto the document and assign it appropriately.
If you're signing the document yourself, click on the signature field and use the cursor to draw your signature.
When all fields are completed, click "Send Document" to send it to the recipient. You'll be redirected to a menu where you can track the document's progress and view the signatures. You can also navigate to the Mailbox folder where you can review, track and access all your documents at any time.
Once you've sent the document, the recipient will receive an email invitation to fill and sign it. They will be able to work with the document prior to authorisation on the platform. The recipient will see the fields you've filled as well as those assigned to them. They can easily complete the fields and add their signature. Once finished, they simply click "Send."
Once the recipient processes the first document, they receive an email inviting them to set up a password for their automatically created DocStudio account. All processed documents are stored in the account, giving them access at any time. Once the process is complete, both the sender and recipient will receive a signed copy of the document via email and they can also access it directly from the DocStudio account.
